Bush, Adviser Assailed for Stance on 'Offshoring' Jobs

Democrats from Capitol Hill to the presidential campaign trail lit into President Bush's chief economist yesterday for his laudatory statements on the movement of U.S. jobs abroad, seizing on the comments to paint Bush as out of touch with struggling workers.



"They've delivered a double blow to America's workers, 3 million jobs destroyed on their watch, and now they want to export more of our jobs overseas," said John F. Kerry, the Massachusetts senator and front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination. "What in the world are they thinking?"

how can they think that offshoring American jobs over seas is going to create new jobs for american workers. and when they try to state that new jobs will be created i noticed that they never state what type of jobs they will be and what kind of pay those jobs will offer. further those statements on offshoring being good i have no problemes believing that if will be good for the execs who will be able to give them selfs pay raises from the money they save however the main question i have is in the logic of offshoring. the main probleme i see is the fact that all these jobs will be lost and those people will be forced to take lower wage jobs and not have the money there used to and over flooding other makets. over all there will be more people without jobs and most importantly what companies don't seem to grasp is the fact that after this is all said and done they will go out of buisness because hardly anyone will be able to afford to bye their product thus no sells or incom for the companie.
